Ice And Fishing Report

April 26th 2008

Hi Everyone, just a little update, the harbor has been dredged and everything is looking really good, even if we are getting snow today, the ice isn't all of the way off the lake yet but should be off in a week or so.

June 9th 2008

Fishing still good at night 7:30 -10:00 pm in 8-10 feet of water. Morning fishing may be picking up....somone went out early and did very good in same depth of water using slip bobbers and leachs right out in front. Fish flys were terrible this weekend...had a hatch Friday evening.

June 16th 2008

The bite has slowed down in the sands but they are still marking and catching some fish in front. The weather has had a lot to do with that. I had one report of 4 keepers being caught on the East flat Sunday morning. We had a couple of muskie swimming in the harbor this weekend.

July 1st 2008

Fishing has been scattered, it's been hit or miss in the shallow and on the flats. Overall, fishing in the evening tends to be better.
